Application Process
Can I take a tour of the apartments and townhomes?
You are welcome to contact the Leasing Office at 609-924-3000 to set up an appointment for a tour.
How do I apply for housing at Merwick Stanworth?
An application must be completed through Faculty and Staff Housing at Princeton University. The application can be submitted through My Housing for Faculty and Staff which can be found here: https://rescenter-prod.princeton.edu/FacStaff.
What happens once I submit my application to the Faculty/Staff housing office
Once your application is received it will be processed through the University. Once you have been approved the University will forward your application to the Merwick Stanworth Leasing Office to the start the lease process.
Who can live at Merwick Stanworth?
Merwick Stanworth is primarily for faculty and staff members of Princeton University.
Lease Term and Rent
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of every month per the payment schedule outlined in the lease agreement.
You are provided a 4 day grace period if circumstances occur prior to any late fee being charged.
Utilities
How do I pay my water bill?
You will be individually billed by an independent service for water usage in your apartment. Your payment should be made to the Leasing Office.
What utilities are included with the rent payment?
Trash and sewer charges are included with your rent payment.
What utility is the resident responsible for?
The resident is responsible for payment of electric, gas, water and cable/internet services.
Who do I contact to set up electric and gas service for my apartment?

Who provides cable and internet service to Merwick Stanworth?
Comcast and Verizon provide service to the property. You will receive contact information once your Lease paperwork is complete.
